After 224 days of skiing and riding, the 2015-16 Colorado ski season is over as Arapahoe Basin’s chairlifts stopped turning yesterday. More than 2,000 people came out to the Basin for one last day of lift-served skiing, with many testing their skills at pond skimming on Lake Reveal. A-Basin received approximately 300 of snow this season, and cool temps in the spring allowed the ski area to remain open for an additional bonus weekend (June 10-12).
