Arapahoe Basin Ski Area began snowmaking shortly after 5:30am this morning. A-Basin will continue to make snow through the day as temperatures allow. Weather forecasts show great temperatures for snowmaking this weekend. Last year A-Basin opened for the 11/12 ski season on Thursday, October 13, 2011.

A-Basin has not set an opening date for the 12/13 ski season, but will open as soon as conditions allow. Get ready skiers and riders!
