Springtime Brings Bounty of Snow, Events to Colorado Ski Country
Denver, CO. – March 18, 2011 – Colorado Ski Country USA (CSCUSA) has one of the longest ski seasons in the country thanks to resorts with peaks at lofty elevations, an average snowfall of more than 300 inches and the dry air that keeps it around. Colorado’s ski season typically stretches well into May providing skiers and riders with sunny skies and mild temperatures. This year, spring skiing will be particularly enjoyable, as many ski areas approach near record snowfall amounts. To entice skiers to take advantage of terrific late-season snow conditions, resorts have packed their calendars with celebrations, concerts and competitions. Positive Momentum Holds for Colorado’s 2010-11 Ski Season
Denver, CO. – March 18, 2011 – Colorado’s ski season continues on a positive path despite a small dip in visitation during the first part of 2011. Colorado Ski Country USA (CSCUSA) reported today that its membership of 22 ski areas recorded a slight drop in skier visitation for the second period of the 2010-11 season, accounting for January 1 through February 28, 2011, compared to the prior year same period of 2010.

Snow Totals from Past 48 Hours Catapult Colorado into its Snowiest Month
Denver, CO. – March 8, 2011 – The beginning of this week delivered healthy amounts of snow to each of Colorado Ski Country USA’s (CSCUSA) 22 resorts. The fresh snow helped some resorts reach benchmark totals for the season, while for others, resulted in yet another classic Colorado spring storm blanketing runs for March skiing and riding.

Colorado Resorts Offer Bouquets of Spring Bargains For Skiers and Riders
Denver, CO. – February 23, 2011 – Colorado Ski Country USA (CSCUSA) resorts prepare to welcome guests for spring skiing and riding by offering money saving deals and crowd pleasing events. New Snowstorm Hits Colorado Resorts
Denver, CO. - February 21, 2011- A winter snowstorm settled over Colorado ski country last weekend and left as much as 18 inches of snow at some resorts. All of Colorado Ski Country USA's (CSCUSA) resorts received new snow in the last 48 hours. The fresh snow was welcomed by President's Day holiday skiers and snowboarders taking advantage of the season's already powdery conditions in Colorado.

Weekend of Snow Ushers in Exceptional Conditions at Colorado Resorts
Denver, CO. – February 8, 2011 – A weekend of heavy snow, that continues to fall, is leaving Colorado Ski Country USA resorts covered in fresh powder, and blessed skiers and riders with ideal conditions for the week ahead. All 22 Colorado Ski Country resorts received significant fresh powder, with Steamboat leading the way having reached the 300-inch snow mark. The resort posted an intense 28 inches over the weekend at its summit, and received a further 16 inches yesterday.

Colorado Ski Country USA Skier Visitation Increases in First Period of 2010-11 Season
Denver, Colo. – January 19, 2011 – Colorado Ski Country USA (CSCUSA) announced today that its 22 member resorts reported an increase in skier visitation for the beginning of the season. Skier visits at CSCUSA resorts were up by 10 percent during the first period of the 2010-11 season, defined as opening day of the season (this year October 24) through December 31, 2010, compared to the same period of the prior year.

New Winter Storms Give Colorado Ski Resorts More Fresh Powder
Denver, CO. – January 10, 2011 – The first significant storm of the New Year hit many parts of the state over the weekend, leaving fresh snow at every Colorado Ski Country USA (CSCUSA) member resort. The 48-hour totals were led by Steamboat Ski Resort with 17 inches of fresh Champaign Powder®, followed closely by all four Aspen/Snowmass resorts, which were headed by Aspen Mountain’s 15 inches.
