Heavy Snowstorm Lingers Over Colorado Ski Country USA

DENVER, Colo. – February 15, 2012 – Every Colorado Ski Country USA (CSCUSA) resort received a good helping of fresh snow within the last seven days. The most recent snowstorm to move through Colorado was widespread, lasted several days, and left snow accumulations between 35 and eight inches.

Early Season Skier Visitation Behind Last Year

DENVER, Colo. – January 20, 2012 – Colorado Ski Country USA’s (CSCUSA) 22 member resorts reported a decrease in skier visitation for the beginning of the 2011/12 ski season. Skier visits at CSCUSA resorts were off by 10.65 percent during the first period of the ski season, defined as opening day of the season through December 31, 2011, compared to the same period last year.

Big Storm Brings Snow to Colorado Ski Country USA

DENVER, Colo. – January 17, 2012 – An impressive snow storm moved into Colorado Ski Country USA (CSCUSA) Monday leaving double digit snow totals at many resorts. The Central and Southwest mountains witnessed the bulk of the storm with Silverton Mountain as the major benefactor reaping 19 inches, and Wolf Creek 18 inches, both in a 48 hour period.
