Silverton Mountain is the place to be for adventure - for that powder-filled, big-mountain skiing fix. With 1,600 acres and only a handful of skiers, it is like heliskiing for one-sixth of the price.

Rental Gear: A great selection of backcountry gear available at the slopeside Black Diamond Demo Center. A fleet of amazingly effected easy to use Backcountry Access Tracker beacons can be rented at the slopeside store as well. Demo a DaKine Backpack to carry gear in style and comfort.
